Project Professional 2010 and Project Server 2010/ custom fields > graphical indicators with custom GIFs?

Dear Forum,
i've a short question: is it possible to enhance Project Professional und Project Server with an enlarged custom set of icons (GIFs?) to use as graphical indicators. If it's possible, how can it be done?
Background: a customer would like to use throughout their reports a custom set of intuitive and well known graphical indicators.

Hi Philipp,
The icons that you see in PWA are on the file system in the 14 hive directory but I dont think it would be supported to change these. I dont think would be possible to update the Project Pro icons, and again, if you could it wouldn't be supported to do so.

that is a quick answer. Seems like changing the icons would go under "hacking", so we'll be fine with the existing icons.

Hi Philipp,
In addition to Paul's sound advice, changing graphical indicators are not supported. Icon size has been hard coded to specific size and dimension.
Image files from 14 hive directory are linked with various DLL files; hence not supported to modify the out of the box graphical indicators
