Project 2010 https 9000(0x2328) error when saving plan.

问题 Project 2010 https 9000(0x2328) error when saving plan.

I have a https 9000(0x2328) error when trying to save plans from Project Professional 2010, I'm able to access & edit plans but the error happens on save
only when I'm on the work network, using the same laptop / Project Professional 2010 it saves fine.
Making progress it looks like that I can't access the resource pool from the https although it works using the internal http. When I go to add a resource using
enterprise I get an error message stating "You cannot edit the team at this time. Verify that Project is still connected to the server and try again" I know it is
as I'm able to save using the external https using a plan until resources get added to the plan.
Is there a specific setting in SharePoint / Project Server that would make this happen?

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Have you added the https URL to Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer?

    Hi Abhijeet,

Thanks for getting back but this problem is accessing the Enterprise resource pool from Project Professional 2010 via the https login

which I think is causing the save error, it works fine via the internal http access. I should also mention both server & client software has service pack 1 installed.

Are you using a wireless NIC connection?  Do you happen to dock and undock your laptop and thus switch from wire to wirless connection.  If you do, then this can cause some issue.

    Cheers!

Thanks for your reply, I have tried installing both the Aug & Dec CU's but the service pack 1 superceeds these and it states that "the update is already installed on this system" when I try installing them.

Thanks for your reply; this problem is happening for all users outside of the network using Project Professional 2010 & Sp1 and logging in via the https connection. Users are able to create, load & edit plans until resources are added then the 9000(0x2328) happens while trying to save the plan. I was even able to add a new resource name that is not in the resource pool and save but as soon as I add a resource name that is in the resource pool and it asks to replace / sync it, then the save error happens.

As mentioned I cannot access the resource pool via the https but I'm able to while on the network via http, could this be a port issue via the https?

Thanks PWAdmin, I must admit that I have looked at the url before starting this thread as it did not work in this instance. We have had plans created as mpp's but were only able to upload them internally.

    Hello,

    Please try following things.

    1. Have you checked the same bhavior with any other system in the in the environment? What happens, if you check the behavior from any other client system?

    2. Please install Feb CU 2012 for Project Client from the below link. Save and Publish the Project Plan and see the behavior. I hope it will let you install this CU, at least.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2597942

This issue has been addressed in December CU 2011. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2597006. I understood from the above thread, that you can not install December CU. That is why I've recommanded to install Feb CU which was released post Dec CU 2012.

    3. Is it possible for you to install latest patches in the farm. i.e. Feb CU 2012 which you can download it from the below location?

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/projectserver/gg176680

Request you to follow step number 3, only if step number 2 doesn't help.

Please reply, if none of the above steps help. We will prepare another action plan accordingly.

    Regards,

    Jignesh

    Hi

The project server instance is now updated to the Dec CU update KB2597015 and has been tested via https from a laptop with Project Professional 2010 updated to the Dec update.

It still saves plans without any resources added and I'm still unable to add resourses from the "Build team from Enterprise" drop down in the resources tab, if I log in via http this works correctly and I'm able to add resources then save. Once I log back in via https in Project Professional I'm then unable to save the plan with the 9000(0x2328) this is either with resources added nut not in any task or assigned to tasks. The problem is still persisting..

    Regards,

    Luke.
