    I have confidential data that I'll need translated.  Is the data encrypted when it is sent to be translated?  How is data handeled and who views the information?

    Hi YK2,

    When you submit data/documents to the Microsoft Translator service for translation, the data/documents are not shared with anyone else. A small subset of randomly chosen sentences out of all submissions to the service is analyzed by the Microsoft Translator quality assurance team.

    The API allows you to submit text to Microsoft through an SSL-protected connections in order to prevent eavesdropping on the connection.
