    Having been through the forums, there are several features including and over and above what has been already discussed that I would like to see in WHS

     

    1. Like most people, I would like to use WHS as storage and backend processorfor Media Centre, so that I can use a low powered device to stream videa rather than having to run 2 grunty PC's

    2. Integrate existing storage without having to format the disk drives

    3. An easier way to share media, i.e. add some functions like a Photo gallery, streaming music / video straight from the web page

    4. A simple mail server platform added

    5. Backup to external devices (i.e. DVD or Tape) - as this becomes a large storage device, and there is some redundancy, if a disk gets lost pretty hard to restore

    6. An easier way to upload entire directories to the WHS (currently you have to make a folder, then add files 1 by 1 into the upload box).  It would be nice to just select a local directory and upload the entire folder in one hit

    7.WSUS server would be good (integrate into the home server client)

    8. Builtin AV support (maybe Forefront client)

    9. UI for web is very simplistic (yes I know I am a techo and I like more options)

    That is it for now, I know I have already added some other peoples ideas here, and it is good to see a lot of people have similar thoughts on the product
