Re-Install windows live messanger, writer and photo gallery

  I’m trying to re-install the new Windows live MSN, but I have a problem with the uninstalling and re-installation of windows writer and windows live photo gallery.

  When I try to re-install the software it shows a dialogue box that says that these two programs have to been removed from the control panel.

  However, when I perform this action another dialogue box comes: “this patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it”....

  Any ideas how can I solve this problem?

  Do you know which patch they are referring to and which is the way to re-installing it
