We are running OCS 2007 R2 on Windows 2008 servers, and the client on XP machines.
We also run the OCS 2007 client on our Blackberry devices - for this we have a Communicator Web Access R1 server, since R2 is not supported by RIM.
On both clients, I notice that users are occasionally disconnected. This is relatively fine for the desktop clients, since they reconnect transparently, and most users don't realise - however, on the mobile devices, users have to log in again.
Does anyone know of any settings I can tweat/investigate?
If you right click the pool in OCS Management (Logging Tool) You can start a New Debug Session Then Analyze the debug session with the snooper tool from the resource kit
Be sure to select SIPStack But be aware that this will log all sip messages which can get a large logfile. So try to log only a specific sip uri that is not used to much so that you do not have too much messages in the log- Belgian Unified Communications Community : http://www.pro-exchange.be -
I would log SIPStack You can enable filtering on the right specify your URI to enable filtering so that only messages to and from that URI are logged- Belgian Unified Communications Community : http://www.pro-exchange.be -
