Locked MCU Errors

    When any client tries to start a conference call the following event is logged on the server:

    Description:
    A C3P request sent to an Mcu timed-out. Conferencing requests for this Mcu type will be retried but if this error continues to occur conferencing functionality will be affected.

    Mcu Url: https://<Server>:<Port>/LiveServer/MCUFactory/
    Resolution:
    Ensure that the Mcu is provisioned and functioning correctly. If any network related errors are reported by the Mcu ensure that they are resolved.

     

    Additionally, every 4 to 10 seconds, the following event is logged: (I'm guessing this is some sort of retry operation)

    Description:
    The process RtcHost(752) did not receive a certificate from the client.


     This is a consolidated server with all components installed locally.  Any ideas on what I may be missing, or where I can find more detailed logs of this occurence?  Should I just start from scratch with a fresh install?

    Description:
    Office Communications Server Archiving Agent or Archiving Service is unable to read/write to MSMQ queue in a timely fashion.

    Acknowledgement class: 49154. Time to receive has expired while the message was still in its destination queue
    Cause: This could happen if the Archiving Agent receives a negative acknowledgement from the service.
    Resolution:
    Check Office Communications Server Archiving Agent permissions, Archiving Service permissions and restart services, if required.

      Try to install the certificate of the server on the Live Meeting Console workstation and see if it helps

        What type of server are you installed on? I found that when I ran OCS in virtuals on ok hardware (but not great), it would have a tendency to timeout when attempting any sort of MCU work.

          Thanks for your replies.  I decided to start from scratch and everything seems to be working great now.  I beleive what had originally caused this issue was a missing DNS record for Meetings.internal, but am still not entirely sure.  That's what I get for not paying enough attention to the deployment guide.  Don't try to be a hero on this one, read the cheat sheets!

              Did u try re-installing the certificate, had to do it twice..

                Hi.

                 

                I have exactly the same problem like the thread starter. Additionally, I can't join or initiate a Live Meeting. The verification of my user account in the Live Meeting Console is successfull. IM and all other things are running perfekt.

                 

                Installation:

                 

                • Single standard server without additional roles and without telephonie
                • Based on Windows Server 2003 SP2, existing AD 2003 native, Exchange 2003 SP2, LCS2005 clean uninstalled
                • I performed the installation 2 times with the same result
                • No errors during Installation
                • Recreated the certificates several times

                I need some hints for debugging or a solution.

                    i'm having the same eventid 32052 error..

                     

                    Should the web site in the error exist.. ie: if i open IIS manager.. and go to the default web site.. should i see that sub directory.. "liveserver"?

                     

                    I dont..

                     

                    The path referenced is:  Mcu Url: https://server.domain.local:444/LiveServer/MCUFactory/

                     

                    Also.. what are these live meeting dns entries i should have?  Are these for the local dns server?

                        I am seeing the same errors also.  I do not have LiveMeeting or any conferencing access (IM Conf., A/V Conf.)

                        Thoughts?
