    Hi,

    I want to install the Customer Portal, but currently have the Partner Portal installed

    Having read many of the posts around here, I thought I would try deleting the Partner Portal solution as I was getting an error whenever I imported the Customer Portal solution

    Every time I try to delete the Partner Portal I get this ;

    Cannot delete Solution because one or more components require it.

    Does anyone have any suggestions about how to fix this ?

    Hi,

    This happens when a user after importing the managed Partner Portal Solution has used the solution owned entities to further customize their system. You will have to double click on each of the links seen on this dialog to undo or remove those changes.

    One example from screenshot above is: Double click on the Campaign form and remove the msa_city entity from the form

    After which you will be able to delete or uninstall the solution.
