    I purchased a Windows 7 home premium OEM system builder pack (made in Hongkong) intended for use in India. Is this a licensed version and can I install it in my new computer without any later problem from microsoft.

    To see if it's a licensed version, you should visit this site: http://www.microsoft.com/howtotell/default.aspx?displaylang=en. Without any further info, nobody here will be able to answer your question. Whether you are licensed to install a OEM SB version on your computer, depends from your EULA and the current legislation in your country.

    If the software packaging is labeled as requiring product activation in a certain geographical region, then you'll only be able to activate it in the geographic region it is intended for.  You may not be able to activate it outside the designated region.
