Geblokkeerd adware

    so the adware seems a little ineffective.  i loaded up a program (spybot search and destroy) on advice from my computer repair man.

     

    it found half a dozen sitting resident on the computer.

     

    so i have this neat program running in memory and appartently not doing its job.

     

    mmmm!

      Spybot and other similar programs will report tracking cookies and leftover registry entries as threats. What did it detect that was missed by OneCare other than tracking cookies?

        unfortunatly i do not have a record of the adware that was found.  my computer has just been returned from being "cleaned" and they had found the list of adware and removed it.
