OneCare Security Center Fix Problem Installing

I did as instructed and my computer is the 32 bit link. However, when I click on that link the computer freezes on that link.
Oh, so I did uninstall one care and now when i try to download a new version, I try the free demo model and it freezes the link also- Split Stephen BootsMVP, Moderator lunedì 3 agosto 2009 12:55 thread unlocked

I'm not sure why your PC would "freeze" on the link.
In any event, if you have now reinstalled OneCare, you no longer need to apply the fix from that thread. The updated version of the installation resolves the issue. Now that you have reinstalled, you need to activate the installed copy with your subscription LiveID, if you have not already done so.
If you are still seeing the Windows Security Center warning after the reinstall, please contact support.
