Hi,
I had a requirement to catch Project Checkout event. Astonishingly, when I start writing code for the event I found that there's no event for Project Chckout. How am I suppose to catch event for Checkout (that is, if someone click on Edit button from PWA.)
Thanks,
Kashif

Hi Kashif,
Agreed with you. Only way to find is the PSI where you can get the Project web service to find the project checkout/in status.
But you can hookinto your code in edit button on PWA. Here is a sample code with steps:If you can tell us the requirement, We can try to find the alternate way to do that.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply Amit, I've used that hooking up of button in for saving my custom web parts data. I should have tried this approach for Editing as well but it will only be effective for PWA, not for users using PP. Anyway its been a while now and I'd told the client its not possible for having an event for check out :)
Thanks again!
Thanks, Kashif

No problem. I was away for a while so seems that I was late to reply your query.
