Question Failed to create the provider

    I have SyncToy 2.1.0 on Win7 Pro.  I backed up two weeks ago.  Today I get the Exception during preview.  Failed to create the provider. I removed the Folder Pair and get the error on attempting to readd it.  I read through previous questions.  I have cleaned up registry, reinstalled Synctoy, rebooted, repaired the Framework 2 Provider services in Add and Remove programs.  No success thus far.  Any further suggestions?

    For whoever might be interested, I saw another thread that talked about problems with Kies software from Samsung.  And yes I had installed Kies after doing my last backup.  I uninstalled Kies, repaired both entries for Framework in Add and Remove Programs, cleaned up registry with Registry Mechanic, rebooted--and presto, it works.
