    My primary computer will not back up because of an error reading from the disk.  It suggests that I run chkdsk /f  /r and reboot.  I've done this more times than I can mention (at least twice!!!!)

    Any thoughts?

    Have you tryed to defragment then chkdsk? When was the last time the drive was formated?
