Answered Certificate error

    When accessing my server at https://<myipaddress> in IE7, I'm getting a certificate error telling me that the cert was created for a different address. I can still connect and have full access. It appears that this is normal, according to the help section in WHS. Is this correct? Or, can it be fixed? Thanks.

    SSL certificates are created / assigned on a hostname basis, not an IP address.  The ceriticate in WHS is self-signed I believe, so certificate errors will always pop-up unless you get a verisign certificate (or another provider) for whatever hostname you want to use to access your server.  I believe you should be able to add your self-signed certificates to IE 7 to stop some of the errors, but I believe it will continue to show up red in the URL bar.
