Ability to Schedule Driver Balancing.

A suggestion....
Soemtimes when the WHS is perfoming tasks, it automaticlaly starts to blanace the drives, and so making the WHS slightly less responsive. For example migrating files onto WHS.
This inniates the drive rebalancing feature of WHS, and so slows down the process of moving files. TRying to print during a Drive-rebalancing seems to take forever too.
Would it be possible to be able to schedule re-balancing of drives topredetermined times?
Or, if copying files across, would disabling the 'copy' facility on the drive prevent the re-blanancing to occur, so speeding up the file copy, and then reslect the drive/directory duplication when the folders are updated?
I hope this makes sense

Hi Adrian
The issue with that though would be that when you copy files to the WHS, Drive Extender starts moving the files to different drives, or sections of the drives as part of "normal" operations. If it had to delay this process then there would not only be a delay in moving the files which would cause WHS to potentially fail as it could run out of disk space, but also that your files would not be protected if you were using folder duplication.Andrew
