I just spent 5 minutes trying to find the Microsoft Academic Search website. I *knew* Microsoft offered a way to search for scientific content, but because I assumed it was being marketed under the name Bing - which MS has reserved for everything search-related - I kept entering search terms like 'Bing science' 'Bing scientific search', etc. I would suggest to rename or at least redirect the service to Bing Academic. For me as a consumer, it would make a lot more sense.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry that you had difficulty finding Academic Search. The URL for Academic Search is http://academic.research.microsoft.com. Academic Search seeks to make it easy for users to find scholarly information on the web and we are constantly looking for ways to make the service as accessible as possible. Branding and website location are only 2 of the many factors that we take into consideration. If we change the name of the service or the location, we will make sure to share that information in this forum.

I guess the person above did not get through to Microsoft.

    Make the website http://academic.bing.com.

It's not that difficult of a concept, Microsoft.
