    Hi. I'm seeing many entries of the following error in my event log

    EVENT ID : 6875

    Error loading and running event receiver Microsoft.Office.Project.PWA.WSSEventReceivers.PSDBUpdater in Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.PWA,Version=14.0.0.0,Culture=neutral,PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c. Additional information is below.

    : Value cannot be null.
    Parameter name: s

    Any idea what is going on? Hopefully this is the right place to seek some help =) Thanks for your time.

    Hi brettlee,

    You didnt mentioned the version of the Project Server? also can you please verify if the ULS logs are looking like this:

    If above is the same for you then the account that is also used as app pool account or system account can  not start these Work Flows automatically . you should try with some other user account and it will work fine . I will not call this a issue this is some thing we had in MOSS and now in 2010 also.

    Hi Khurram,

    Thanks for your reply! The related error you pointed out is also being logged in the exact same pattern as yours. I have since changed the PWA apppool account to a different user (Found out that it was previously using the SA's account)

    I'll monitor the event log for these few days and if there aren't any traces of the error, I'll update this thread accordingly.

    Hi I get the same error, but not the additional workflow errors in the ULS.

    We are running Project Server 2010 and SharePoint 2010 Enterprise

    Error:

    Error loading and running event receiver Microsoft.Office.Project.PWA.WSSEventReceivers.PSDBUpdater in Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.PWA,Version=14.0.0.0,Culture=neutral,PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c. Additional information is below.

    : Value cannot be null.

    Parameter name: s

    I've looked at the solution by Julian Stevens located here, but the length of the URL is only 148 characters.

    Hi, we have begun receiving this error when trying to save and publish a site, this has only started today and was picked up after a user noted their tasks were not showing on the PWA homepage, the error occurs when we try to publish a specific site, our workflow account is set up as a sole account for that purpose and the ULS logs are only showing the same error message with nothing else related, does anyone know what else might cuase this and could this be affecting other site tasks, the user beleives this was previously working?

    Project Server 2010 - 14.0.6106.5002
