Global templates

2012年5月4日 15:11I was creating some custom views to publish for the enterprise in Project Server 2010. I accidentally saved "Resource Usage" and now when the users try to put columns in they get the error that their changes won't be saved, etc. How do I ungoof this up so the Resource Usage is back to default settings and not using a global template?

This did not fix the issue. I open a plan from server, select Resource Usage as the view, attempt to insert a column and get:
Edits will not be saved.
Any edits made to enterprise global template items are only available during this session. Make edits in the checked-out enterprise global template to make them available to all users of this Project Server.
The only things on the "right" side (checked-out Enterprise Global) are the custom views:
Enterprise Gantt Chart
Gantt for Outlook
Manager40HourReview
Resource Usage for Outlook 1
Resource Usage for Outlook 2
The only things on the "right" side in tables are:
Enterprise Entry
Gantty for Outlook Table 1

2012年5月19日 13:38モデレータIT --You see this error when you apply an enterprise view and then attempt to edit it in an enterprise project. Are you absolutely certain you are selecting the default Resource Usage view and not one of those two Resource Usage for Outlook custom views? To make sure, click the Task tab to display the Task ribbon, click the Gantt Chart pick list button, and then select the Resource Usage view. Then attempt to add a column and determine if you still see the error message. Let us know what you find and we will try to help.
