Unanswered Songsmith installation issue

    I just purchased full version of songsmith but i had a trial version on my laptop. even though my download worked, when i start songsmith, i keep getting this error.

    Trial period monitor failed
    the system for monitoring the trial period failed to initialize (reason unable to initialize timebomb class (reason couldnot find any recognizable digits))
    this error prevents songsmith from running.

    i tried uninstalling and installing multiple times but no use. i have windows 7 on my laptop.

    We have seen this problem on rare occasion due to virus protection software preventing Songsmith from accessing files related to product registration.  Are you running any antivirus software on your PC?  If possible, can you try disabling it temporarily and running Songsmith?  Please remember to re-enable your antivirus software afterwards.

    Also, can you clarify whether:

    1) Did you previously have the trial version of Songsmith installed, and - if so - did the trial version work for you?

    2) If you previously had the trial version installed, did you re-install Songsmith after you purchased it, or did you just type the registration code (which you should have received by email when you purchased Songsmith) into the existing installation (the trial version normally asks you for a registration code when you start it up)?

    i turned off anti virus, uninstalled and re-installed songsmith and still face same issue.

    The trial also gave the same error before. so i reinstalled the purchased version and did NOT type in the registration code into the existing installation.

    Please advise.
