    What are you doing with these forums (the new version)?

    First the answer-and-helpful-out-of-order problem and now I have discovered that you can no longer edit a post. A day or two ago it worked, but the second time you tried to edit a post, you just got some HTML code. Now you just get a blank page without the previous content. Besides, copy-and-paste from Notepad does no longer preserve the number of line feeds. I can understand that copy-and-paste from more complicated editors like Word may create problems, but pure ASCII characters.

    PS. Why have you removed the post with the explanation of the new way to organize the posts - the one with the search engine explanation. A lot of people really wants a good explanation of this mess.
    Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler. Any fool can write code that a computer can understand. Good programmers write code that humans understand.

    Looks like I can edit my post. But there is a knob in the right bottom of the edit box where I can stretch the box. I use Firefox browser and I don't use my browser at full width of the screen. So the box is a bit too wide going over to the next column where is also statistics box and others. But why would I need to resize the editing box anyway? Well if it remembers the size of the box, then good. It still randomly throws me to the single post page mode editing. I tried and there was text, not html.

    Also I would like some whitespace in bottom of the page so that I can scroll the bottom stuff to the middle of the screen, though.

    All these problems have been described in previous threads in this forum.  The trouble that Microsoft has had making a forum post editor work on IE is getting legendary, this 4th version is no improvement.  Far from it.  If you are getting fed up fighting these unsolvable IE problems, start using FireFox.  Expecting a fix for IE is not realistic, it hasn't been done after 3 years of trying.
