I have a weird Dashboard issue that has been happening when attempting to share out a dashboard with a team. I have confirmed that I have shared the "Views" that the dashboard pulls from with the specific team, as well as sharing the actual dashboard as well. I have also confirmed that the team has a security role that is user rights to "User Chart" and "User Dashboard"
I added multiple users to the team and had them all attempt to access the Dashboard. They are able to select the dashboard from the drop down, but each graph populates with the following error message:"You do not have enough privileges to access the Microsoft Dynamics CRM object or perform the requested operation. For more information contact your MS CRM Administrator" A log file is also generated and here is the error message within the log file.
Unhandled Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault, Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk, Version=22.214.171.124, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35]]: System.NullReferenceException: Microsoft Dynamics CRM has experienced an error. <Message>System.NullReferenceException: Microsoft Dynamics CRM has experienced an error. Reference number for administrators or support: #16FC3360</Message>
<InnerFault i:nil="true" />
<TraceText i:nil="true" />
I have also restarted the Application server in hopes of having that resolve the issue, but that also did not resolve. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check the security roles of these users.
May be they don't have the access to records in those views.
Open up a security role and check if they have access to the entities in the views and also check what sort of access they have like use owned/businessunit level or organization level etc.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. It looks like they have full organization access levels for the Account/Opportunity Entities for Read/Write/Create Priviledges. Any other thoughts?
Next I'll attempt to change those users rights to administrator and see if its a problem with the role.

Found the solution.
Turns out you need to share permissions for the individual charts as well.
I had given share permissions to the entities, the view, the dashboard as a whole however I had not shared out each individual chart. Now the users are able to view the dashboards.
Thanks for your reply as always Amreek!

I was wondering if you could tell me how you were able to view the permissions of each individual chart. I am having this problem as well. I have checked the permissions on the dashboards and the views so I need to verify that the charts are shared correctly.
Thanks in advance.

I would go to the view that you have built the Chart from. Select the chart tab and hit Share. Make sure the team/user that needs to see the chart has at least Read priviledges.

I had the same issue as Pasha were the following error came up: "You do not have enough privileges to access the Microsoft Dynamics CRM object or perform the requested operation. For more information contact your MS CRM Administrator" A log file is also generated and here is the error message within the log file.
I was able to get one of the charts up in the shared dashboard, but the other still have the error?
The other users have system administrator access.
I have shared all the charts for each dashbaord.
2012년 4월 26일 목요일 오후 4:24Make sure the user has at least read privleges to the 'View' that the Chart is using as well.

I had provided the read and share privleges to everything relating to the dashboard charts.
still only opened one of the charts on one dashboard and non on the others?
