    My problem is i have an activated Office standered edition 2003 when i try to validate it i recieve the message that its not activated? Am i doing something wrong?

    Activate again. You may have only activated WIndows XP. :)

    Fixed the problem not sure what was wrong. I uninstalled office, cleaned all the temp files and registry entries and re-installed and it worked ok
