Export Bug: incorrect format for EndNote
-
2012년 3월 17일 토요일 오후 8:36
Clicking on the Export feature opens a popup with three format selections: bibtex, "EndNote", and RefWorks. Selecting EndNote produces a file with an .enw extension.
However, the contents of this file are not properly formatted for import into the EndNote program. Instead, they appear to follow the RIS (Reference Manager) format.
All lines in an EndNote import file start with %<t><space> where <t> is the tag identifier, e.g.:
%0 Conference Paper
%1 2056999
%A Arne-Michael Torsel
%T Automated Test Case Generation for Web Applications from a Domain Specific Model
%B Proceedings of the 2011 IEEE 35th Annual Computer Software and Applications Conference Workshops
%@ 978-0-7695-4459-5
%P 137-142
%D 2011
%R 10.1109/COMPSACW.2011.32
%I IEEE Computer SocietyHere is the EndNote file produced from MS Academic Search Export, for the same paper:
TY - CPAPER
AU - Torsel,Arne-Michael
PY - 2011
TI - Automated Test Case Generation for Web Applications from a Domain Specific Model
T2 - IEEE Annual Computer Software and Applications Conference Workshops
DO - 10.1109/COMPSACW.2011.32

I ask that the correct format be produced, or the correct format name be given in the pop up.

Thank you for your note. You are indeed correct that this is the RIS format. We are working to clarify this on the site. Apologies for our error.
Best Regards,
Greg
