    When running a tune-up, is there a way to get the virus scanner to skip my external harddrive where my backups are?  It takes about 24 hours to scan 400gb of backups.

      You can exclude your external drive from malware scans by opening One Care>Change Settings>Viruses and Spyware>Exclusions>Add folder. Browse to the drive letter of your external drive and select it.
