    Good morning,

    I have a task "Task A" that I have extended by 5 days.

    ie. Task A     4/9/12    to  5/7/12    was at 40% complete

    the person working on it asked me to give him until the 15 of May.

    So I extended it.

    ie. Task A     4/9/12    to  5/15/12  

    and he said he is 60% complete.

    So when I try to update it to 60% it automatically goes to 100%

    Why is that?  

    project 2010

    task is Fixed Duration and not Effort Driven

    I had saved a baseline too.

    Insert Remaining Work Column and check if its 0 then add to it appropriate hrs. required to complete the task. This should fix the task.
