    Hello

For various reasons we need to change the site URL from server1 to server2. I am happy doing this in Sharepoint via Alternate Access Mappings. However a few other items do break. For instance on the opening page of PWA we recieve the error of SQL Server reporting services "

    • The
      item 'http://<server1>/PWA/SSRS Reports/Project Workspaces Home.rdl' cannot be
      found. (rsItemNotFound)

And none of the project workspaces work as they are all still following the server1 name. Could anyone tell me how to fix this please?

You have most likely changed the URL in the default zone which in turn has caused this. I would backup then delete the RDL files from the library, and reupload them.

    Hello Rob,

I did change the URL in the default zone. Is this not the best way to do this task? I have changed it back for now to get it working.

    Thank you.

I am not sure why updating AAM setting did not update workspace URLS

For testing purpose I did tried same step, updated default URL for my PWA from http://psvr2007:8080/PWA2 to http://PSVR2008:8080/PWA2

Added local host to point psvr2008 to same IP address as PSVR2007.

I am able to access PWA site with new URL and all workspace URLS are updated with new URL

In your scenario, where do you get above error?

Are you able to access server settings page

    try using http://server2/PWA/_layouts/pwa/admin/admin.aspx

What you done is ok but try backing up the RDL, deleting it, then reuploading it.
