    Hi everybody,

Last few days I notice a delay for every operation I try to do in the forums. I am using Google Chrome. Yesterday I installed Windows Updates.

I don't work in TechNet, mostly in MSDN. It seems to improve a bit.

Last few days I notice a delay for every operation I try to do in the forums. I am using Google Chrome. Yesterday I installed Windows Updates.

That is sadly consistent with the new problems I'm having with Chrome, in the same timeframe.

See my post today in thread:

In my case it's just slower. Submitting a reply takes 10+ seconds.

Ouch. Still a problem? Are you also in Chrome? Could this be a browser compatibility issue? Got a thread of yours on MSDN that I can go experiment with?

Currently I can't repro, so that's why all the questions.

    Thanks!

    Testing reply.

I count to 5 (in Russian) before it worked. Also, the layout now seems to be broken as I see copyright bleeding through my reply as I type.

    Test....

I got a little less than a full second after I counted. And I can't repro the copyright issue you mentioned.

    Could this be related to...?

    - Browser/settings/configuration

    - System + Browser

    - Internet connection

Alright, I've got a fourth theory...

This is tied to the forum server and is random. (This one also took half a second.)

One more test - this was pretty quick, about 1,5 sec.

Doesn't seem to help much, I still experience occasional slowness.

So could this just be a combination of server overload and internet connection?

Hard to say. In most cases it's fine, but sometimes I need to wait about 10+ seconds when submitting a reply. Yesterday and today I was also getting 'Internal Server error' but luckily it didn't last long.

I think it's a sign that we're dealing with a combination of server issues and connection issues. Your wait times are higher than mine but can get down to similar wait times.
