When attempting downloading a file from WHS v1 with the latests updates and patches installed I get the error from IE9 that the file couldn't be downloaded. The unusual thing is the file name it delivers to my browser to download is an ASP command not the file name.

This is the first time I am using Windows 7 and IE9 to download files from my home server. When I used IE8 and XP it seemed to work fine but that was months ago but since then I have updated to Windows 7 and IE9. Any ideas on what is going on here?
Thanks

I am also having the same problem, and have not found a solution. I have migrated to a new server running WHS V1 which is a clean install + updates. I have previously had success IE9 on Windows 7 using my old server. Has any one got any ideas?
Thanks, Alec -

The fix is here from Microsoft. Turn off "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" and this will begin working. See below KB Article.
