How To Setup MSN Hotmail or Windows Live Mail
To set up Hotmail or Windows Live Mail* on your Pocket PC phone, use Pocket MSN. Pocket MSN provides access right from your Home screen to all your favorite MSN services, including MSN Hotmail, MSN Messenger, and MSN Mobile Web content.
Most new Pocket PC phones come with Pocket MSN installed. If you don't see Pocket MSN on your phone, you can purchase it from MSN.
To set up Pocket MSN:
Select Programs from the Start screen.
Select PocketMSN.
Select MSN Hotmail.
Enter your Hotmail address and password.
If you want your Pocket PC phone to save your password so you won’t have to enter it every time you want to check your mail, select Save password, which will put a checkmark in the checkbox.
Press Sign In.
To view your latest messages on your Pocket PC phone, select Menu > Send/Receive.
Note: If you don't have PocketMSN, don't subscribe to an unlimited data plan, or only need occasional access to this account, you may prefer to access your Hotmail or Windows Live e-mail from your Pocket PC phone using Internet Explorer. To access your account through Internet Explorer, go to http://mobile.msn.com.
*Windows Live Mail is the next version of Hotmail, and is currently in beta form. Windows Live Mail provides fast and simple e-mail that makes it even easier than before to read, send, and organize your messages.
