Email router problem (26234) with crm 2011 online

  • Every minute we get in the email router server this errorin the event wiever

    #26234 - The E-mail Router service could not process a provider work item using assembly: Microsoft.Crm.Tools.EmailProviders.dll and class: Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Providers.Pop3PollingMailboxProvider. Microsoft.Crm.Passport.IdCrl.IdCrlException: AuthIdentityToService()

    The email router test access work and we get email to the crm, but still getting this error every minute.

  • Please ensure the email router has been upgraded to CRM 2011 version and is running the same rollup as your server. I would not go higher than Rollup 3 at this time.

  • Also have the same problem here: CRM 2011 Online with Exchange 2010 and E-mail Router for CRM 2011.  We're presently applying Update Rollup 6 to the E-mail Router to see if it will fix the issue.  The problem is with outgoing e-mails sent through e-mail router.  We also notice that -- in e-mail router - we get an error when we click "Load Data" (in the e-mail router application) and cannot see the see the available users and queues.

  • Please check if your Dynamics CRM Server and Dynamics CRM E-mail Router have the same rollup. To check this go open Programs and features by doing one of the following

     * Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Programs and Features or
     * Go to Start and search for "Programs and Features"

    Then on the left side click on "View installed updates". It might take some time until all updates have populated in the field so give it about 30 seconds or so. If you sort it by name then close at the bottom you should see the entries for the CRM updates. For the latest updates you should see

    Update Rollup 6 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM E-mail Router (KB2600640)
    Update Rollup 6 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server (KB2600640)

    If the rollup does not match or the rollup for the E-mail Router is missing then you need to update it. For rollup 6 you can go to this site:

    http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=28712

    You will need CRM2011-Router-KB2600640-.... Chose the appropriate one depending on your OS.
