    Guys,

     I am planning to take the 70-536 exam this week (first MC exam). I am wondering whether practicing the tests provided in the Self Paced Training Kit 70-536 is good enough to pass the exam.

    Please advice.

    Not knowing how much proficiecy you have with the technology, that's a very difficult question to answer. However, practice tests offered with the kits as well as 3rd party practice tests (www.transcender.com) tend to follow the experience of an actual exam without overstepping the Non-Disclosure Agreement. I would not solely rely on any practice exam as a metric to sit the actual exam.

    I was testing in the 95% range on the MCTS-70-536 practice tests for several days before I went in for the actual exam. I passed the exam on my first try, but just by the skin of my teeth. I'm going to use another testing source (maybe measureup?) before I take the 70-502 (WPF) exam.

    You should compare experiences between the actual exam and the practice exam, not content. As I said before, practice exams are to be used as a tool - not as a way to learn the material. The goal here is to learn the material, not just pass an exam.

    Before you purchase any practice exam, see if they offer a free evaluation (10 questions or so). Now that you have a feel for how Microsoft exams are delivered, you can make a better determination on which practice test provider you use.
