flying thru saved views?

greetings!
i'm new to hd tools, and am quite enjoying them. i find some of my friends have trouble figuring out that they can explore the images, tho. i'd like to save some specific views, and then have hdview travel thru them at load up, before settling down to allow individual exploration.
1- is this currently possible, and if so how?
2- if this is currently not possible, is there any chance it will be provided in a future version of hdview?

This is an often requested feature. Hopefully we can add it soon.
You can almost achieve this today via javascript. Take a look at the control properties described here: http://research.microsoft.com/ivm/HDView/HowDone/HDXMLspec.htm In order to move the viewpoint along a path, you could repeatedly update 'FOV', 'Yaw', and 'Pitch' via javascript.
