    problems on everything due to error code 0x80040154 seems to have started months ago after getting rid of pre-installed Bullguard anti virus, like it was annoyed and punishing me for doing it, I have never been able to update anything since and I mean anything, All I get are error codes

    Hi,

    Error code 0x80040154 is "Class not registered."  What version of Windows are you on--XP, Vista, or 7?  Which Service Pack?  32-bit or 64-bit?  (To find out go to Start, right click on Computer, and select Properties).
