help in transfering my back-up files to my new laptop

  My laptop died so I had to purchase a new one...This one comes with it's own antivirus program & one-care is no longer on it..

  I did back-up my files off the old laptop using one-care onto discs..When I tried to run them onto the new laptop it would not transfer my records..

  I still have about a month of use on the one-care, but prefer to use the program that came with the new laptop..How can I transfer my photos,etc from the back-up discs?
