One Care Adding another PC
-
maandag 26 juli 2010 1:53I know One care is being replaced but our laptop crashed and when I reload one care and try to link it to my active account it just keeps telling me my Windows Live One Care account is not active???? yet this is how I just signed on here. My current account is active for a few more months and all I want to do is get protection for the PC that crashed.

This could be caused by using the incorrect Live ID. If you have One Care on another computer open One Care>Help>About Windows Live One Care and you will see the Live ID associated with your subscription. If you are not able to activate One care you can contact support for help. How to reach support - http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/onecareinstallandactivate/thread/30400b52-7f26-4ba0-bc18-17e305329d90 Since One care is nearing end of life you might also consider uninstalling One Care and using the free Microsoft Security Essentials for malware protection - http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/
