Problems with Remove this PC.

woensdag 1 juli 2009 15:13I have a Vista PC that had one care on it. I have it networked with a Desktop PC thru One care. I reformatted the hard drive of the laptop PC and gave it a new name. I re added One care - I forgot to remove the old computer, Now I can't remove the old computer name I I have warnings that it is Urgent that I need to turn on spyware and monitoring - which I can't do becuase the old name is now the new name and I can't remove that computer.
Please advise on how I can remove this old computer name.

You may want to also try renaming the new PC (Computer/Properties) which OneCare should pick up and then try removing the old one after the name changes in the OneCare Hub. Then change the new PC name back to the name you prefer.
