Answered Will Project 2010 conflict with 2007 and 2003?

    Hi Folks,

I have Project 2003 and 2007 loaded on the same laptop. I only use one of them at a time, and they both exist without any conflict or problem. I now want to load Project 2010 as well, so that I have all 3 versions on the one laptop. Are there any known issues or conflicts with having these 3 versions loaded on the same laptop. I don't use Server, and only have them run standalone.

    Thanks,

    Paul Silverman

2007 and 2010 are playing nicely enough on my laptop. I would guess that
as long as you install in sequence, you should be fine.

Note that your OS will need to patched appropriately to handle 2010. If
    you're still on XP, you'll need SP3.

    Hi Paul,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project forum:)

I have all versions from Project 4 to 2010 - all standard versions - loaded on my PCs that I  have used for training purposes.  Occasionally I've had to re-install one of them and I've found out that you must install them and their SPs in sequence.  Otherwise, no problems.
