Error 501

I've got two installations of the latest WLW, and great the software is too.
The older installation had an early beta of the latest release on it, and I have upgraded that early beta to build "14.0.8050.1202 en".
The problem is that when I try to format some text (i.e. the 'Font' dialog box), I get an error box, saying:
"An error has occurred in this dialog.
Error: 501
Permission denied"
I do not get this with the instance of WLW on my second pc, and wondered what the problem was.
I have uninstalled and re-installed WLW on the first machine, and have renamed the installation directory between uninstall and re-install - to try and get a clean instance of WLW.
Anyway, I'm still getting this error, so would be grateful for some pointers!
