activation successful - features still disabled - what's going on?

I have successfully downloaded and installed a <I>genuine copy</I> of <U><B>Windows</B> Vista RC1</U> and have successfully validated it online, as my system tells me. Not being able to use all of its "fantastic new features", so-called", is a real downer and extremely annoying.
PLEASE HELP ME

ummm..... thanks for your suggestion... very much appreciated... but i have just last night got aero working thanks to some advanced driver installation :)..... had to download a driver that supported directx 9.0 and pixel shader etc. and then modify the installation instruction file ....
yeah
that's about it :)

P.S. i would have deleted the post but i can't figure out how .... mainly coz i haven't bothered yet
