    Hi there,

I´m using CRM 4.0 (Rollup 17). On the Account entity I created a picklist with few attributes e.g.
    1. Step
    2. Step
    3. Step
    4. 2x2000
    5. 1x1000
    -- Quit
    -- Deceased

No I´ve few thousand accounts in my CRM and I just created a View (via Advanced Find) towards this picklist. Marked the filter with Equals -- Quit; --Deceased
But the results I´m getting are records from the other attributes. How is that possible ?

I´ve tried to eliminate those records by using Does Not Equal, Does Not Contain, Does Not Begin With etc. but that didn´t help at all.

So what am I doing wrong here ?

    Regards, Ragnar

    Hi Raggoz,

What happens if you only filter by one of the attributes? Either - Quit; or –Deceased? Do you still get the other records that way?

Could you post screen shots of the Advanced Find query screen and results screen?

Unfortunately, the screenshots didn't help me as much as I hoped. I'd need to run SQL Profiler while running the query and have a look at the underlying records to see why invalid records appear to be returned.

    How about a Group OR?

    Just my 2 cents worth . . .

Morning, Group OR did not work :-(
I´ll try the SQL Profiler and see what it gives to me.

A part of the problem might be in your query across entities.

You say you need to find Accounts that  has the value of hættur and lest in that picklist... Why do you have a cross entity relationship for doing that? It seems strange to me.

If you selected Accounts in the first blue block that you marked.... then there is no reason for creating a cross entity filter.

But as long as you block out the filters, its hard to help you unfortunetly.

    Hi Rune,

Thanks for your support it really helped. I´m not sure why the setup of the view was that way (I´m not the creator).
Now it´s only working on the account itself, not querying across entities.

    Best regards,
    Ragnar
