Save and New not working.

Hi all,
We are currently having a problem with "Save and New" functionality. It works fine on our dev environment, but in the live environment, when the user clicks save and new the form saves but then the form loads a greyed out ribbon bar with a blank screen and says it is done (if we hit refresh we get returned to the saved record). There are no javascript errors or eventvwr errors. This happens on all entities with or without customisation, and for all users including system admins. Has anyone seen this before?

Hi Chris,
What update rollup are you on? Have you tried clearing out the Temporary Internet Files cache on both the server end and browser end?
I've seen this happen a few times, generally once an update rollup is applied. The rule of thumb is to clean up the Temporary Internet Files folder under C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.xxx\Temporary Internet Files, restart IIS and clean up the browser cache.

Hi Chris,
Please try few things (on top of the list is installing latest CRM rollup):
1) Clear IE cache and see whether that helps
2) Try recycling app pool and see whether resolves. If not reset IIS and see whether it resolves.
3) Are you using proxy server. Bypass that and see whether issue is resolved.
4) Install the latest CRM rollup. (I advise to do this anyways)
5) Check whether SQL Server is running on a very high memory (i mean taking loads of resources and running very slow). Check the same for email router.
6) Disable all JScripts on an entity (which has JScripts) and see whether the issue comes.
I hope this helps. If my response answered your question, please mark the response as an answer and also vote as helpful.
