Unable to track email with CRM from delegated mailbox

I have the following setup; Outlook 2003, XP SP3, Dynamics CRM for Outlook (Rollup 8).

I am configured as a delegate on another mailbox but when I try to track email in that mailbox via CRM, I receive the message that CRM can only track items in the default Outlook store.

I applied Rollup 7 first, applied the registry key DelegateMailboxEnabled and set it to 1 and that didn't fix it. I then applied Rollup 8 but it's still not working. Any other suggestions as to what I can try?

I have successfully tested tracking emails from other user's mailboxes for a current customer. They are using UR10 on the server and client because several improvements to shared/delegated mailbox use were made in these updates. Also, you need to check that the delegate has at least Publishing Author privileges as the delegate needs to be able to write to the email message.

    Hope this helps?

    Thanks Neil.

A colleague has managed to get it working. He had to logon to his PC as the other user, setup the CRM connector, install the rollups and the registry setting. Once he had done this, he was able to get it working. The server is patched to RU11.

I'm wondering how we can do something similar, but updated steps for CRM 2011 for Outlook?  I posted a similar thread question here titled "Can you track / promote emails from two Exchange mailboxes in one Outlook profile? What if one is a "shared" mailbox?": http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/uk/crm/thread/e016c535-20a7-44f5-82d9-fe93208cc4c7

This is for Outlook 2010, and CRM 2011 for Outlook (UR6). Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Anyone a clue if this key "DelegateMailboxEnabled" is also working for CRM 2011?
