I am trying to send email to "team" on assign of a lead. workflow is working for the single user but when i assigned it to a team, email won't trigger for any users in the team. I'm using Outlook Client for sending an receiving emails.

And this is how my Default Queue of the "Team" looks : I'have added members to the team.
Before posting, I explored this forum a bit and I found out that ppl talking about creating contacts and adding it to queue and all.. i don't know how it works !! I would like to hear your suggestions..

domingo, 22 de abril de 2012 10:35Thanks vikram, but i have seen that thread , it talks about different error : "System user with id=XXXX doesn't exist" : and remedy is to change "queue owner" to actual user not the team. my Default Queue owner is already been set to the actual user with actual email address.

You can't send emails to a team in CRM 2011. This is the cause of your error.
One solution would be to use a check condition to check if the owner is a team, and if so, send an email where Owner(Lead) is not a recipient
