    i have a windows 7 home premium key supplied with laptop i bought, and windows installed is having a much extra stuff which i don`t like and is making processor busy more often. I want to have a copy of windows 7 home premium from mmicrosoft. how can i get it. Can i install it from any original bootable dvd using supplied product key?

    Hello fastmate,

    Uninstall the nonessential programs.

    Microsoft will NOT send you an installation disc or file for Windows 7 Home Premium.  If you wanted to purchase a computer without superfluous software, you should have purchased from a trusted local computer shop who would have installed a systembuilder/OEM license for Windows, which is the OS only and not all that extra stuff.

    You can purchase a systembuilder/OEM license form Windows 7 Home Premium from trusted local computer shops, or you can buy locally or online from trusted sources who cater to the small builder and computer enthusiast, such a newegg, Microcenter, Frys, etc.
