I need to restore my system to yesterday.  However, when I go to system restore, it says "system restore is not able to protest your computer.  Please restart and try again."  I restart and get the same message.  I ran ad-aware and removed their suggested spyware and now I have lost a couple of programs . . . .How do I fix this? . . . . I have even tried to run it through help and support.  But I lost that application too . . . .Thanks . . .Lisa

    Hello Lisa,
This forum is for helping customers interoperate with Microsoft Products via our Open Protocol Documentation. Information on this program can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/protocols/default.mspx and the documentation itself can be found here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc203350.aspx. Your issue does not appear to be related to our protocol documentation.

Unfortunately your problem is very general in nature so it is difficult to direct you to a better source of information. My best advice would be to start in a more general forum or discussion group to look for your answers. Its also very possible that you will need to call in to Microsoft Support. My recommendation as a place to start would be the discussion groups located here:
