    How can I change working times of just a single task without affecting all the other tasks that fall on the same day?

    Hello,

    If you have a resource assigned, you may alter the resource's calendar and project will schedule the task based upon the resource's calendar.  If you don't have a resource assigned, you may create a new calendar (copy the existing project calendar), modify the working time for the single day and then assign the new calendar as a task calendar.

    Create a task calendar, if only that task need to be changed for Working Time, refer to link below for creating the Calendar.
