Gantt chart project renaming MSproject 2010
-
sábado, 20 de novembro de 2010 03:38sounds simple, but it really irritating me, because i can't find a title renaming option ANYWHERE. my friend let me use his project as a template for me to edit, and i did. when i do a printout, it still shows his project name in the bottom left corner of the printout. i changed the file name, but that didn't do anything. can anyone tell me how to rename the project?

found it! it took an hour of face-keyboard-smashing, and five ciggarettes later, but it found it. for anyone else that might google the same thing i did (and to no avail) you go to...
File> Info > (then theres a little dropdown menu that doesn't even look clickable, i over looked it many times, to the far right that says "project information, same thing as all the other stuff BUT... this one has two drop down options: ) Advanced properies and system statistics. soo.... File> Info> Advanced properties> then change what you want.

domingo, 21 de novembro de 2010 01:57ModeradorAc1ds74r --As you now know, Microsoft buried the Properties dialog in the user interface. It is for this very reason that I recommend users add the View Project Properties button to either the Quick Access Toolbar or to a custom Ribbon. Hope this helps.

quinta-feira, 30 de dezembro de 2010 12:40Thank you so much!! I've also been beating my head against a wall because of this. I have Microsoft Project 2007 and I ended up having to go to File>Properties and then the dialog box popped up. I don't have an Info listing under my File drop down menu.

Guys, to change the print previewed title (located at the most bottom left), you must go to the Print > Page Setup > Legend to change it.
For the footer and header, its there.
thanks
