    Hi!

    The functionality in the Analytics and Tuning studio is really great, easy to check for calls with errors or long running calls and then drill down to see details for certain call. I have showed this to our customer and think they should get a similar installation but they are reluctant to get a visual studio installation just for this.

     

    Since all the info is in the database already (if imported), do the reports using reporting services have the same functionality?

    If not, would another way be to create a simple web app contains the same overview of all sessions and a session detail page for drill down possibility?

     

    Has anybody made their own tuning application?

    Hi Markus,

     

    Have you try viewing the Speech Server Reports using the SQL Server Reporting Services and IE?

     

    If you look at the Documentation under Start->All Programs->Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Speech Server, under the topic Speech Application Analysis and Tuning > Speech Application Data Analysis >Speech Server Reports for Use with SQL Server Reporting Services, it should gives you more details on what each Report Definition Language (RDL) report has to offer. There is also a link to how to deploy the RDL reports. I should note that the SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services is required.
