Proposed Answer Moderator: Posting to 'Locked' Threads

As a Moderator, I want to be able to reply to a Locked thread.
Currently, it is necessary to 'Unlock' the thread, post the reply, and then 'Lock' the thread again.

Seems that a Moderator level privilege would be to allow posts to Locked threads without so much effort.

We actually discussed this and decided that 'locked' means 'locked'.  How often do you need to do this sort of thing?

The one scenario we thought of where this really made sense was when you're using a thread as an FAQ. However, we decided to consider a different thread type to support this, rather than change what lock means. Does that make sense to you?
